How to get free, impartial and confidential advice

If you need advice, information or guidance, Coatbridge CAB is here for you..

Coatbridge CAB provides a general service on most issues, however there is another service available if you wish to use it for consumer issues.

Previously the Citizens Advice consumer service provided advice about all consumer issues in Scotland, England and Wales but this ended due to funding changes.  The Citizens Advice consumer service in Scotland now only provides advice on energy and postal issues.  A Scottish consumer can call 03454 04 05 06 to get this advice.

On 1 April 2019 Advice Direct Scotland’s consumer service launched to deliver advice on consumer topics that are not related to energy and post. This service is not part of the Citizens Advice Scotland network.  Telephone number is 0808 164 6000.

Visit the Citizens Advice website or the Money Map Tool for detailed information on a wide range of topics, including guidance on benefits, debt, money, work, housing and much more.

It’s also easy to get in touch with us, in whichever way suits you best. For more complex issues, such as immigration, we recommend you make an appointment to come in and see us
